Great food, service, and atmosphere. Nice to have the owners present as well. Can't wait to go back again soon!

This is our 2nd visit to WST. We are in Longmont about 4x a year and now this is our "go to" restaurant for an upscale family dining spot. There is nothing to critique here as the entrees are excellent - very well thought through with unique flavours and combinations. The beverages as well are quite out of the ordinary with amazing flavours. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing here !!!! The serving and greeting staff are very professional, kind and helpful in explaining the dishes. The staff are very helpful when trying to assist in making a dish gluten free and will swap components to get you there. We came as 4 adults and 2 children (5&2). Maddie was just an excellent and sweet server (we had her our last visit in January). Get ready to be wow'd !!! The owners are really nice folks and you can tell they love what they do.

I've been to West Side Tavern.... 5 times now? Felt it was time to leave a review because.... EVERYONE SHOULD TRY THEIR TUNA MELT HOLY MOLY. In general tuna melts have a strange stigma about them; maybe because you think of Starkist (SP?) canned tuna or something, I don't know. But if you have some sort of stereotype or bias against Tuna Melts, I'd encourage you to get over it. The tuna used is super fresh (at least it tastes fresh; I don't know how you source tuna in Colorado but whatever), the bread has a thin layer of some sort of cheese on the outside that give the bread an extra fantastic crunch.... there is a really cool tang that I can't describe (maybe a bit of citrus juice of some sort) but it is creamy, crunchy, tasty..... I dream about it often. They have other awesomeness too, I just want to call that out. Some reviews lately have been talking about price.... I think their price is close to fair given market conditions and whatnot. One of our other favorite restaurants is 24 Carrot Bistro and the prices. here are just a TAD higher on average. BUT West Side Tavern is generous with portions and they don't do the dumb x% "our staff needs to live" stuff (at least I didn't see anything on our bill). Our service has been good 4 of 5 times (pretty terrible once when we were outside, but something was just off that night I think). Overall highly recommend for great food (TUNA MELT OMG) fun cocktails (the walnut bitters in the Old Fashioned are clutch), good ambience.... try it out.

Ok friends .. I have to say this place is AMAZING so warm and welcoming and the food is expertly prepared ! The entire staff's knowledge of any cocktail imaginable is astounding! Longmont is so blessed to have this establishment. The atmosphere can't be matched anywhere else, it is at once comfortable and chic . This is absolutely the place to see and be seen ! The attention to detail on every cocktail is just meticulously executed. The energy of the entire staff is infectious and any one of them are prepared to help at the drop of a hat . Now the food . What an incredible menu , and the specials are always thoughtful, fun and absolutely delicious. We were just so impressed with WST we have experienced Brunch as well and OMG ! The Bloody Mary is NOT to be missed !!! And again the staff , Avery, Sierra, Maddie and Thomas and the Chef Fabian just WOW ! WST wins with fashionable, friendly and fierce execution of food and drink !!!

A must stop spot in Longmont! Word of mouth travels and for good reason! Herb crusted rack of lamb 5* Roasted beat salad with trout 5* We finished the meal with cheesecake Drink selection did not disappoint, I recommend a Negroni! Thank you to staff and management for an amazing experience

My star rating: * Totally avoid. Why are you even open? ** Avoid unless the last restaurant on earth. *** Several important misses. Not recommended. **** Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended. ***** Hits every mark of perfection. PROS The three of us each had a different brunch item: baked eggs Florentine, eggs benedict with ham, 3 egg omelet and all were fantastic. Delicious bloody Mary. Excellent, friendly service. Reasonable prices. Quaint venue. Outdoor seating as well. CONS The individual tarped gazebos outside could use a little more air flow - got a bit warm/stuffy under the noon sun (perhaps time to remove the sides now that warmer spring weather is here). Street parking - but it's in a neighborhood setting. Shall certainly return!
